If you need a little help getting into the Christmas spirit, be sure to check out these 2020 holiday events happening in Anderson County, Tennessee!

Holiday Market in Historic Downtown Clinton – On December 5, the brick and mortar shops of Historic Downtown Clinton will be decked out with holiday gifts and décor! Enjoy special sales, hot chocolate, crafts and more. Be sure to bring the kids along so they can mail a letter to Santa. The event takes place from 10 am – 4 pm.

Holiday Market by Historic Oak Ridge F.A.R.M. Market – The annual Holiday Market in Jackson Square will take place on December 5, 12, & 19 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Shop with local vendors and artisans for plants, wreaths, gourmet foods and more. And be sure to stop by the shops of Jackson Square for some unique gifts for your family and friends.

Candlelight Christmas Museum of Appalachia Anderson County, TN

A Candlelight Christmas – December 11-12. Experience the serenity of an Appalachian Christmas at the Museum of Appalachia! The centerpiece of this holiday event is an evening tour of the Museum’s pioneer village. The cabins will be adorned with old-fashioned Christmas decorations and festively lit for the occasion. Activities will include storytelling, live nativity, live music, and wagon rides. Demonstrations will include blacksmithing, sorghum making, apple butter churning, and more. The event takes place from 4 pm – 9 pm. Please reserve your tickets in advance, limited tickets are available to ensure social distancing.

Clinton Christmas Trail – December 11-12 from 6 pm to 9 pm. The Clinton Community has come together to spread the joy of Christmas. Follow along the trail to see Christmas decorations and Christmas lights around Clinton.

Oak Ridge “Reverse” Christmas Parade – The Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present the 2020 “reverse” Christmas parade on Saturday, December 12th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. What is a Reverse Parade? It’s a parade where the floats are stationary and attendees will drive the parade route to view the fun. Parade floats will line one side of Lafayette Road and spectators will drive down the other side of the road to enjoy your creativity from the safety and comfort of their own vehicle.

Norris Shines – Let’s “Light Up” Our Town will take place from December 12 – 26. Drive through the town of Norris and see beautiful Christmas décor and lights!
