DOE Facilities Public Bus Tour

BUS TOURS WILL RESUME ON JULY 11TH

Explore the original Manhattan Project sites around Oak Ridge and learn the history behind the development of the world’s first atomic weapon which helped to end WWII. US Citizens only age 10+.

The tour will leave from the American Museum of Science and Energy and will stop to explore three key locations associated with the Manhattan Project: The K-25 History Center, ORNL Graphite Reactor, and the CNS/Y-12 New Hope Center. Tour guides walk guests through an incredible history that saw the dawn of the nuclear age, the end of a world war and amazing innovations that continue to this day.
