  • Norris Dam State Park and the adjacent Norris Watershed have a combined 43 miles of walking, hiking, biking and even horseback riding trails! The trails run through the park’s 4,000 acres watershed’s 2,300 acres and offer stunning views of Norris Lake, along with its surrounding hills and valleys. If you want a scenic and relaxing hike, then this is the perfect place for you to go.
  • While Windrock Park is mostly known for its ATV and off-roading adventures, it’s also a great place for hiking! There are trails for every skill level at this location. They even have a nature trail at the park for visitors to explore. The nature trail takes guests through the woods and around the pond and picnic area in the park. There are a few gradual uphill slopes, but it’s easy enough for hikers of all skill levels!
  •  Anderson County Park has more than 6 miles of hiking trails for visitors to enjoy. The park itself is located on Norris Lake and has 192 acres. There are a number of self-guided nature trails that provide the perfect opportunity for a leisurely hike with incredible views. After your hike, share a picnic with your family or friends in one of the covered picnic pavilions at the park!
  • Oak Ridge City has 48 greenbelt districts providing a total of 85 miles of trails.   The most popular trails are the Melton Lake Greenway, North Boundary Trailf, the Black Oak Ridge Trail and the trails at Haw Ridge Park.  Oak Ridge’s trails offer challenging trails and casual strolls along lake banks.
