Day After Thanksgiving Hike

Join Ranger Trent on Friday, November 24th at 10:00am at the entrance to the West Campground, next to "The Canteen" for a 2.5 mile hike along the Elkins Loop trail. This hike is a part of our signature hike series and will take place the day after thanksgiving.

The Elkins trail is rated from moderate to strenuous, and offers some varied terrain with some uphill climbs, and opportunities to see Norris Lake. The hike should take around 2 hours round trip so please wear sturdy shoes, bring plenty of water, and bring snacks to enjoy along the trail.

Registration is not required to attend this hike, but is encouraged.

All donations stay within Norris Dam State Park and contribute to the upkeep of facilities, trails, and purchasing of supplies for special events and programs.
